I am a Cue fanantic and after Falcons training camp went driving, this place is pretty darn good. The prices are so outside of the city low and the cue is pretty good. I had chopped pork and although i had just been to Fox Bros. in Atlanta in which i could discern the diffrent types of wood used on each of the diffrent meats (yum) i was left searching for the killer smoke hit. With that being said good cue, great service and close to the lake. Hickory Hills up that way was better but i would go back to this joint if in the area. Overall; travel from the city to for Cue, no. In the area and hungry for damn sure.
The restaurant itself is just a plain little building, no frills. If you want to go someplace fancy this ain't it, but it's comfortable and the food is great.
The people who work there are awesome. They're very friendly there. Everytime I go the service is great and I feel like they're genuinely happy to see me.
I've never had a bad experience there. My order's always right, the food's delicious, they give decent portions, they're friendly, and I like looking at all the pig stuff they've got on the walls hehe.
Oh! And it's real bbq. Not boiled meat. Which is a huge plus in my book.
great bbq, satisfying brunswick stew and friendly service. i loved their sauce!
