User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWell after hearing much about Paul's on a Friday or Saturday night - I decided to give it a try. No mind you that I am a semi-local business person in the area who refers a lot of folks to this restaurant just based on thier reputation. I arrived there well before the band started so the cover guard dog was not to get my $5 - went in ordered 2 drinks and a steak dinner - forgot my cell phone - went back out to get it and the cover guard dog would NOT let me back in without paying my $5 cover - I even told him I was local - he asked ya where from - I told him Hiawassee and that I ordered a steak before he arrived - he proceeds to tell me that I am not local and that I MUST pay to eat my steak. I should have just left the bar at that point and stick them with the drink and the steak, but I wasa VERY hungry - so I paid to eat my 22.00 + $5 dollar steak.
I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO PAULS EVER AGAIN!!!
You need to change the IDIOT Sheriff at the door and have him LISTEN TO PEOPLE - so to Paul's I give a big Thumbs DOWN!-

My husband and I went to Paul's this past weekend, I was unsure what to expect because of some of the reviews. I ordered the fried shrimp and my husband had the new york strip. They were the biggest shrimp I had ever seen and the steak was great. I can't wait to go back.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRead the reviews and was like, I'll try it anyway. All I can say is, not sure where the reviewers that rated this place as bad were eating, because it could not have been here. Paul's Steakhouse & Lounge provides a relaxing atmosphere and the All You Can Eat Craps were so good. There service was also outstanding. I live in North Metro Atlanta, and even though it is an hour drive, the drive is definitely worth it to enjoy a great meal at Paulâs Steakhouse. Did I mention how awesome the Crab Legs were!!!
