User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI realize I write lots of pizza reviews...but being a college student means a good, cheap meal and pizza is a classic.
This is the perfect little college town pizza place. It has a family friendly feel with the elegance of a nice sit down restaurant. I've been here with my dad quite a few times and we love their cheese pizza. They also have some very good pasta dishes. I personally love the decor...mobsters and such :)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't normally write reviews, but had to let everyone know I just love Angelos! A small italian restaurant with a staff that treats you like family. The food is truly amazing, if you want to go with past and have shrimp scampi or keep it simple with a Sicilian styled pizza, both will keep you coming back for more! The food is just so good!
I am also impressed with the wine selection-- one of the most extensive in the Athens area.
My whole family enjoys going there time and time again. The old pictures on the wall are a nice touch!-

I have been to Angelos several times. The great thing about the food is they make their own pasta, and the sauce is spiced well with basil. I am no Italian expert, but the food is really good, even better than several places I tried in NYC. The service was good as well, and that makes the food that much better. Give them a try, much better than that other Italian restaurant in the square.
