Hands down the best pizza place in Macon. Great atmosphere and excellent pizza.
I had the opportunity to visit Ingleside Village Pizza for the first time on yesterday. I have always heard such wonderful things about it. I decided to call in my order. When I walked in to pick up my order, the cashier did not acknowledge me. I was on the cell phone but that didn't stop the other workers from acknowledging me. Several cooks said hello and that was it. I just thought they may have been really busy. I just continued standing there for about 10 more minutes. Then another worker walked up and she asked the cashier why was I not being taken care of, the cashier then replied "She is way too busy to talk to me because she is on the phone." I thought that was very rude of him to say and very unprofessional. I ended up going to another Ingleside Pizza Village which is located a couple of blocks away. I explained my situation to another worker. She gave me the number to contact the owner. I contacted the owner this morning and she didn't seem concerned about what happened at all. I really don't think I spoke with the owner because if I did I think she would have taken a more professional approach.
I love, love, love this place. My boyfriend and I have been regulars for a little over a year now. Not once have I been disappointed. The pizza is fantastic! I prefer the Village pie. The Breadsticks are out of this world. I've made a meal out of them before. And the atmosphere simply cannot be beat. Definitely on my top 5 favorite restaraunts in Macon.

I was not there but have worked as a cashier in another trade and I applaud that cashier.Customers on cell phones are rude. They expect us to cut into a conversation to wait on them.Cell phones should be banned from public areas.I have one but leave it in the car for resturants and stores.
Exactly. It's rude to interupt a phone conversation, period. If you are on the phone, it's your fault for putting the cashier in a no-win situation. If I have to pick between being rude by interupting, or waiting until the customer is off the phone to say acknowledge them, I will wait. If it's too important for them to hang up, it's too important for me to disturb.
