| About: | Housed in an antique firehouse, this is a great spot for Italian meals and Old World hospitality. A youthful crowd predominates most nights; as diners linger over their post-dinner drinks, the atmosphere tends to get as wild as the colorful, impressionistic murals that cover the walls. The standard Italian fare experiences some unique twists in this kitchen, including crab-infused pastas, creative chicken and veal variations and sinful desserts. For a quick start, the calamari is a time-tested house favorite. Opens daily at 5pm. |

Garibaldi's is excellent! My fiance took me there for a nice dinner out and the atmosphere and the food was fantastic! the service was great! I was never at any moment thinking to myself "wheres my food" everything was perfect and on time. the food once again was awesome! they have an upstairs and a downstairs and the upstairs is gorgeous! we went in nice dress up attire but there were also people there in regular clothes so either way you do it you'll be fine. I most definatly recommend this place to anyone either visiting savannah or anyone who has lived in savannah but never been here. the prices are somewhat in the med-high range but believe me WELL WORTH IT!
Very nice place to dine. The menu was great and the atmosphere is very romantic! The flounder is out of this world. This coming from a very picky eater. Try it!
The most exquisite restaurant to which I have ever been. Of course I'm sure there are others that are fabulous, but I could die happy never going to them. The food is divine, and the service makes you want to go to lesser restaurants and scream at them for being so horrible.
Their menu is creative without being weird. Some restaurants will go too far with their items and leave me with nothing to eat. Not so with this place. And they haven't gone crazy with the dark chocolate and pecans on everything like another downtown Savannah restaurant I won't mention.
I can't vouch for their wine selection since merely brushing up next to a bottle of wine will give me a raging migraine, but I'm sure it's fabulous.
I simply cannot say enough.
