Terrible waste of time and money. Dark, dingy garden level dining room that smelled of smoldering cigarettes. Don't waste your time. Serviced was slow food was under portioned and mediocre at best. I wouldn't recommend this dump to anyone. And I am a Savannah Native that has heard bad things about this restaurant my whole life...Had to try it for myself and it was a terrible experience. Don't buy into the hype....
I have never been so disappointed. My Mother and I ate there 04/30/09. We had a shrimp and scallop pasta. It had absolutely no taste. The shrimp were tough and the scallops mushy. Along with this my Mom had a little salad and I had tasteless soup. The bill was $84. This place is highly over priced and terrible. The service was also very poor. Not one person thanked us for coming. I am sorry I ate there when Savannah has so many wonderful places to eat.
No Service here: I imagine I've been to over 1,000 restaraunts in my life. This rates in the top of Lack of Service. First, the waitress was curt when I had a question about the menu.It took about 5 minutes to get waited on. When we didn't get our drink, I reminded the waitres 10 minutes later and her reply was only....Yes...no apology. One of us had the fish and chips and asked for some cocktail sause to go with it. Again, it took over 10 minutes to get it. Never once did she come over to ask if the food was ok. We went there to eat but also to check it out for some of our guests who will be attending our wedding to stay there...Well, No Way..
