| About: | Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said. |

Sat at the bar and had a few drinks. Ambiance was good. Wanted to try the food, but it was very busy. Menu had large variety and seemed as though it would have been good. Will Definately hit this spot on our next trip. (there's rumor it is haunted...) Try it.
Great atmosphere for a one on one conversation with a love one due to lack of customers. The problem was after spending $85 my girlfriend and I were still hungry and when for snacks afterward. For the amount of hype plus the amount of money that is being made there, you would think you would recieve better quality and quanity. Everything else about Savannah was wonderful!!!
We went there with intent to eat on a tour conductor's recommendation. We had a drink at the bar, checked out the over-priced menu & decided to go elsewhere. Not impressed!
