    My wife and I love to there at Hilliards, however, the last few times we were there, my wife ordered fried oysters and they were COLD and had been cooked for quite a while. Please fry oysters when they are ordered, it only takes a few minutes to cook them. Also, stop with the cups and saucers and go to large mugs, get with the program! Thanks.

    After a day of sightseeing in Savannah we were looking for a nice and affordable place to eat, before our journey home. We came upon Carey Hilliard's on Hwy. 21. The menu had many things that my party and I liked. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. My wife had ordered the Deviled Crab cakes and thought they were very good. My daughter in law ordered one of your seafood platters, my son ordered the Chopped Steak and I the chicken gizzard dinner. Our food was terrible! The gizzards were so over cooked that they could have been used as golf balls. The chopped steak had a different taste (not a good one). And the seafood platter actually made my daughter in law sick. I have traveled to many places and ate at many different restaurants and I must say that this was by far the worst I have ever eaten at. It would be a good candiate for the show Hell's Kitchen.

    WHEN CAREY WAS ALIVE THE RESTAURANTS SERVED GOOD FOOD AT A FAIR PRICE. NOW THAT IS NOT THE CASE.

    MY WIFE STOPPED BY THE ONE ON GA HWY 21 IN GARDEN CITY FOR AN OYSTER DINNER TO GO. THE SERVICE WAS GOOD BUT THERE IS WHERE THE GOOD ENDED.

    FOR $10 BUCKS YOU THINK YOU WOULD GET A TASTE MEAL, NOT TRUE THE 6 OYSTERS WERE SMALL AND APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN COOKED FOR SOME TIME BEFORE SHE HAD ORDERED THEM AS THEY WERE DREID OUT. THERE WAS NO BUTTER OR SOUR CREAM FOR THE "SMALL" BAKED POTATO.

    IF YOU CHOOSE TO GET A MEAL FROM THERE BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BOX BEFORE DRIVING OFF.

    IWOULD NOT BE WRITING THIS IF THIS WAS THE ONLY CASE WE HAVE INCOUNTERED BUT ON ANOTHER VISIT I HAD TO SEND THE BBQ BACK BECAUSE IT WAS DRIED OUT AND APEARED TO HAVE BEEN SITTING UNDER A HEAT LAMP.
