User Rating: 5 out of 5 starswonderful!!!: Marylin Youmans has been a fixture in Savannah for years. The first Marylin started the dance school, then her daughter Marylin took it over and now the granddaughter Marylin is teaching also. This is definitely a family run business. Girls love taking dace from the Marylin's. They also give lessons at schools for after school children and at different locations in Chatham county. They offer Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Gymnastics and Baton Twirling. The ages range from small children to teens. They have a very nice recital every year and even if you don't have children in the program you should go to see how talented this kids are. The Marylin's are wonderful teachers and all the kids adore them. They have trained dancers to become Radio City Rockettes and stars in Broadway muscials. As well, several of their twirlers have become feature twirlers at colleges like Univ of GA, Univ of South Carolina, GA Tech, GA Southern, etc. Not only have these twirlers earned full scholarships but also some dancers have been awarded college scholarships.
