Everybody that visits us from out of town request at least one trip to Spanky's while they are here! Atmosphere is great at both locations although particularly at the Marshside location. The shrimp is amazing (especially buffalo style) and the blackened grouper sandwich is the best I've ever had and that includes the ones I've tried in Jamaica and the Virgin Islands! You can't go to Spanky's without trying Spuds! Forget plain old french fries and get the spuds, you won't be sorry!

I have eaten shrimp all over the world for the past 35 years, and this is quite literally the best shrimp I've ever had. Brunswick has a major shrimping fleet that brings the catch in every day just before dinner, so the shrimp doesn't get any fresher. We make a point to stop at Spanky's for shrimp every time we're in the area, but we've never ordered anything else. Atmosphere is semi-casual; service is OK; prices are OK.
