I had my first Jimmies over 45 years ago. Loved em ever since.
Everytime I go through Albany on the way to Panama City or Mexico Beach now I stop and get at least 2 sackfuls and some grape sodas.
Man, I wish I had some right now.

I grew up in Florida, my parents are from a small town near Albany, Georgia. As a child my father would travel to visit and i would ride along with sole anticipation of making a stop at Jimmie's hotdogs. I am in my mid 40's now and my Father has passed on, but whenever i have time on a road trip near Albany, i make my way over there, not only for the great hotdogs, but at Jimmie's it is as though time has stood still, everything there is exactly as i remember as a very small boy and i can really see and hear my father asking me "How many you think we need Buddy". I love the taste of those hotdogs and the memories that small little shop accross from the bus station has kept for me. If ever in the area look it up, give them a try, make a memory with your family, the place is bound to be the same when your kids grow in to adults and go there!! :-)

I love Jimmies. Everytime that we go to Georgia, we have to stop by. I can't get enough of them!! Yum! I want some now.
