    Need Better Service: I love this place. This is the first place my boyfriend took me out to in Jesup. They have great food for a decent price. the food is more than filling considering the huge plates they give you . And the mood is lovely too. If its not overcrowded. But the Service absolutely suxed the last time I was there. They reall need to step it up a notch

    The previous review is from 2006. The Kiwi is under new management. In fact it was closed for about a year or so until the new owners opened it back up. The Kiwi is a home town restaurant. It is a small facility with great food. I have been there at least once a month for the past 4 months or so and the service has been great. The breakfast is very good. It is hard to find a restaurant that knows how to cook good grits. Yes, believe or not grits can be messed up, but the Kiwi makes the best grits I have tasted away from home. I had a very good country omelet last weekend too. I could go on and on, but I guess that's enough. I usually don't write reviews, but this place deserves a good one.
