Some of the teachers at Irwin elem are very nice and caring teachers. Others are fakes, they pretend to care and that they're concerned but, when the parent isn't there it's another story. They don't care about your child they just overlook your child like he/she's not even there. They get together and make it seem like your child misbehaving. some of the teachers are very mean they think they can talk to your child any way they want and make your child feel stupid. Instead of trying to help your child they're the one causing the problem with your child putting your child down. The princpal is no better she helps who she wants to he and pretends that she care around the other parents. I want let them mistreat my child they need to get rid of the fake teachers and that fony princpal and get really caring teachers

My son attend Irwin Elementary School for 2 years. He was diagnosed with ADD and autism. He had previously attended school in another state which did not fully address his educational issues. While at IES the staff and the teachers did a wonderful job in preparing him for daily work, worked with him extensively, and were very encouraging. My son florished! He is currently attending his old school and with the exception of one or two individuals within his school, I hope to continue to see him continue to enjoy his learning and each day at school. To the local user, are you involved in the school PTA or PTO? Do you make unannounced visits to drop in on your child or children to see how they are behaving? We as parents are quick to say something bad about a teacher, but why not try working in the teacher's place for a day? Have you asked for a conference with the principal of the school to address your concerns, can you document occasions when the teachers have been abusive to your child? Don't wait around griping step up to the table and demand action. Be active, not reactive Lol A involved Parent
