    Qute a pleasant experience for a visitor... very good southern food and excellent service in a friendly, casual environment.

    My favorite place in town for steak, chicken, fish, etc. The owners are there every night, the quality is extremely consistent, and the service is friendly. (OK, maybe not to me since I am a very big pain in the neck to wait on, but I see them act very pleasant and professional to others.) Steak is by far my favorite. Grouper is good.

    We had a family dinner of about 15 at this restaurant. We began with the fried mozzerella which was wonderful! They had a wonton-like batter which was very original. We knew they were famous for their fried cheese grits, which were every bit as tasty as promised. Being from the New Orleans area, we consider ourselves "food snobs". This restaurant had the quality of a Bourbon Street eatery!!
