As resturants and diners in very small towns seems to go with the wind. This is one resturant that has survived the times of good and bad economys. I've been going to the Catfish House for over 25 years and I have never once been disappointed in their quality of food or service. It has the best in Southern Hospitality that will match any other place I've been to eat. The Seafood is Great with obsolutely fantastic fried oysters, cheese grits, baked potatoes, fries, and great cole slaw. It's all good, and not to leave out their yummy fried shrimp. Being that it's hard to get good fried catfish anywhere, that's my choice on the menu, good ole channel catfish. The best nights to go are of course Friday's and Saturday's with their all-you-can-eat catfish, and I mean just that! There's no owner looking out the corner of their eyes with the thought in their head of, "You go now, you eat too much lol". The Catfish House in Ocilla, Ga. is a FANTASTIC place to eat!. Oh yes, bring all the kids! If you don't, you'll feel bad about not bringing them when you leave :))
