Just rode over there from Alabama. I was very impressed with this BBQ restaurant. I had the rib plate, they were very juicy and the variety of sauces was nice to see too. I would recommend this place to anyone. Well worth the trip. I will travel the 30 miles many times to try here again. The customer service was one of the best features here.

My wife and I were in Donalsonville on business on December 31, 2008. After reading the Yahoo review that raved about Fain's burgers and sweet potato fries, we decided to give it a shot (that and Larry's Barbecue was closed). First, I am pretty sure this place does not even have a smoke pit. My wife had "barbecue" ribs that appeared to be baked. But she said they were "not bad". They did not have any sweet potatoes, so we could not get sweet potato fries. The burger was a simple 1/4 lb piece of fried meat on a literally ice cold bun with huge globs of ketchup and mustard; pretty much like a McDonald's burger that had been left out for a couple of hours. This place is a typical small town cafe with bland/fried food.

The best hamburgers and sweet potato fries!! You have to try this place if your in town. We dropped in on the way to lake Seminole.
