George and Louie's is not a nice dining place. It is over priced and greasy. Granted their greek salad is good as well as most of their menu. They do make a mean burger but you will pay a lot for it too.
There is nothing Greek inspired on their menu but the Greek salad. Just because this town hasn't experienced real Greek food is no reason to praise George and Louis for their Greek food when it is nothing more then southern food.
I had a bad experience with their chili dogs. I would never suggest the chili dogs. I've had them twice and the orange grease saturates the bun right before your eyes. Took my sister from Fl there and was greatly disappointed and embarrassed by the chili dogs. I had praised the restaurant before going in. I also had a friend go there for the chili dogs and turned around half way home with her take out because the greae was coming through the wrapper then the bag and getting on her car seat!
I can say not all the food is bad. Most of it is delicious like the fish sandwiches. If you like plain southern style fried seafood its okay just terribly expensive. Never eat the chili dogs!!
If y ou love Greek Food...: Excellent Greek Food from a Greek family that has lived in this area for many, many years.
This establishment has NOT Closed.: Excellent salads, burgers, & seafood. Original location burned down but now re-opened in same location. Greek inspired menu.

Thios restuarant is not a Greek restuarant. Only the salad is Greek. Nothing else. Just plain old southern food. Good though. This is misleading to make a statement about their food being of Greek orientation.
