    I have been eating at the Smokey Pig in Columbus GA for over 30 years and I have found no better barbecue in the South. The service is friendly and quick, and the portions are generous. The restaurant is a 3 generation family-owned and operated business that is big on delivering foot-stomping good food. Do yourself a favor and eat there... you won't be disappointed.

    Long Time Friend: I am 28 years old and I have been going to the Smokey Pig since I was 5. There is just somthing to say about a place that gets started everyday before the crack of dawn to start its BBq right. And the sauce,WOW, there isnt another like them. And if you don't belive me talk to the HUNDREDS of everyday customers who go the the smokey pig for lunch. Try getting in the door at 12 noon and i guarantee you'll be in a line. Hands down the best in the south.

    Best of the Best: I reign from Columbus, Ga. Being military, we have travelled extensively but always can't wait to get home to have some "real" bbq. Now in North Carolina where their idea of bbq is shredded vinegar soaked slop. This is the best bbq I have ever had!
