My wife & I have followed Bobby Autry whereever he is and love that guy. First at Rexall, then CVS, now at Madison. HE IS OUR PHARMICIST, and always will be. We do alot of business with Madison and love the people there. My wife & I are courteous and receive the same in return. We give the people there 5 stars because they are ALWAYS helpful. We hope that Bobby NEVER retires, even though he has earned it. GO GATORS!
I only use this pharmacy when I have too. They have given me problems on more than one occasion regarding my prescriptions. As a matter of I have to go to Winn Dixie to fill one of them because they refuse to carry the medication. The ladie at the front can be EXTREMELY RUDE ! ! They seem to have way to many young girls working there. There are usually 2 sometimes 3 of them standing around chit chatting. I have wondered if it is a Pharmacy or a Teenage Hang Out. I know that one of the brothers that own the place is married to one of them so maybe the other brother is looking for his next wife. Who knows. It is always hit or miss with them. They are very polite and helpful or they are very short and curt in the dealings with you. So you take your chances. Just keep that in mind when you choose to use them.
i have been using madison street for years without any problems, until recently; i took in a script to be filled and the lady working at the drop off counter said she couldn't refill my meds until a certain date.. wth? i told her i wasnt on medicaid and it wasnt a refill. i then sarcastically asked her if another pharmacy would "i dont know" was her reply. luckily i did. guess she dont know much of anything cause i knew better. i suffer from panic attacks and the thought of running out of my meds will send me straight into a panic attack. well so long madison and thank you CVS!
I have to agree with you in regards to the girl at the front. She can be a real _ itch. I think she has the opinion that since she works in a pharmacy that makes her a Pharmacist or in control of what goes on and she will not even make eye contact with you. She just takes your scripts and you either get them filled or she refuses you which has happened to me in the past and I took them from her went across the street and had them filled. My brother swears that he has been shorted on a few of his prescriptions so he refuses to use them.
I've wondered where you've been. By store policy (most pharmacies have their own), MSP fills controlled substances every 27 days, or, "3 days early". If the 27th day falls on a Sunday, then it is up to the pharmacist's discretion. If one of the girls tells you something that you don't think is quite right, always ask to speak to the pharmacist in charge. Unfortunately, that particular "lady" (pretty sure I know which one she is) is a control hog. We would love to have you back (as far as I remember you're a pretty cool guy), but I understand where you're coming from. Hope you decide to come back.
