Terrible experience! The reason why I start my comment with this sentence, because I completely agree with “local resident” comment. They had my car Monday through Monday (they promised to check it out by Tuesday) and the owner even used the word: trust. I believe he does not even know what does that word mean. But you know I have trusted them. Although I had a bad feeling about the whole thing when we were discussing what I need to get done in the first 10 minutes in the office. Why? Because of the way how they (especially the owner) talked to us. I did not feel like we are customers there at all! I did not feel any respect from them at all. But I always give a chance to anyone.
The story why I took my car there is not so interesting. Routine check, nothing special. I want to sell my car, and I wanted to know if there is a problem with it before I sell it to my friend, but I did not want to get it fixed, and I made myself clear when I left my car there.

The main reason I’m writing this review is that: the last day I went there 2 times to get my car. It was not ready (they took it apart a little bit…?) even they said that over the phone: it is ready and I can go and pick it up, but when I get there I couldn’t take it.
So we agreed on a new appointment. Something come up so I was decided to get my car in the morning, so I called them to let them know, (which is I guess a right thing to do)
Now, listen to this, this is what the guy said: they can’t keep the car in their property, they finished the work and they want me to go there before they close ant get it! And it was not negotiable.

What a story. Actually I felt sorry for a mechanic guy who worked on my car. I was going to give him like a $20 tipp for his work, but he was the one who said this “not negotiable” extremely rued thing.
I ended up paying $40 for nothing. They had my car there for a week, and because I don’t trust them, I had to take it somewhere else to check my car out, even if what they said what is the problem with the car was reasonable. I just simply don’t trust them.
Terrible communication and behavior from their side. They did not even bother to call me and let me know what’s up with my car. I was chasing them to get info.

Sorry if I misspelled anything, I’m a tourist here in Florida.

This guy is a joke! And way over priced!! He told me the wrong thing on my car and I got the real problem fixed else were!

I have been going to Rick at Ace Auto for over 3 years now. I trust him with all 4 of my cars including my 1956 Purple GMC Pickup. I was an auto mechanic myself for 12 years and still do some of my own work. I think Rick is the best auto mechanic in this town. I have spent quite a bit of time at this place and watched may happy customers drive out with a smile. One of the reviewers here commented about Rick walking around with out his work boot on. I was there that day that one of his mechanics dropped the lift on his Big Toe and he was in pain.

ACE AUTO is a good place to take your car because they are Honest and Fair.
