The food was NOT well prepared, and the service was even worse. My husband did not receive his side dish, although we asked several times for it to be brought out. The food could have been cooked by a 5 yo, it was that bad. Also, we requested coffee refill numerous times and when the waiter did finally come by with the coffee, he only gave me 1/2 a cup and my husband received none. When the check came my husband reminded the waiter that he never received the side dish, the waiter decided to "give" us the coffee. Bad food, worse service, they will not get my business again.
our first visit last evening was mixed review by the three of us. Our appetizers were really nice. Alligator, shrimp, oysters. The main course for 2 of us was fine, but my husband ordered the special fillet with shrimp. It was not edible. Very tough, had grizzle, and was a bad cut of meat. It was cooked rare but not chewable. We had never seen fillet that had that texture and look. Was it reall a fillet? We informed our waitress( who was really nice and efficient) but did not receive a visit from the chef, no offer to reduce price or cancel part of meal price. She did offer to replace the steak, but that would have been silly as 2 of us were eating and would have been done.
On lunch menu only: Service left something to be desired, actually had bingo games/cards for seniors in dining area. Not that I mind, but we were there for lunch and it was hard to carry conversation due to noise and testing of fire/smoke alarms (throughout lunch). Ordered philly subs which were greasy (talking grease was running out and bread was soggy)! Recommend the fries only that day.
