This is my absolute favorite place for Thai food. Their Pad Thai is excellent. The service is great, staff is friendly, and service is normally very quick. I highly recommend it to others.
First time, ordered take out. Food decent but small portions. Charged $3 for extra sauce (not mentioned when i requested it). Will not return. Sticking with Thai Cafe.
If you like Thai food, I highly recommend eating at Thai Garden. My dining experience was excellent.
The waitress was very informative and friendly. We asked her about some dishes we had never tried before, and she thoroughly explained them to us. There were three people in my party, and the waitress suggested that we all order different entrees. This was done so we could all try three different entrees. I wanted pad thai, and I also wanted to try red curry. My husband ordered pad thai, and I ordered red curry, and my mom ordered the crispy duck. I was able to try a bit of all three entrees since we shared.
The quality of the food was excellent. We ordered crab rangoon as an appetizer, which was really good. I really liked the pad thai. The red curry was also very, very good. I mixed chicken and tofu in it. I left it at a level two, which was spicey enough for me. The crispy duck was very tasty, and not greasy at all. They give you alot of food too. I suggest ordering different entrees and sharing, if you're wanting to try different things at one sitting.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very romantic. Dimmed lighting, white table cloths and napkins make for a nice dining experience.
The price of the food is somewhat expensive, but definitely worth it. When I want Thai food, I will definitely return to Thai Garden Restauarant in Orange Park.
