I've been to Outback restaurants in several cities, including the exclusive one in Las Vegas, and have enjoyed it just about every time. Although the last Prime Rib I had in Miami was a bit tough, I've always found the rib-eye and N.Y. Strip to be excellent. A little on the pricey side, it is still a bargain when compared to say Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, although RC's is definitely a five star experience in itself.

The atmosphere at Outback St. Augustine is well suited to a gathering of family or friends, it is pretty noisy as are most Outbacks. So you can talk out loud and not disturb the other tables! The service in St. Augustine was excellent, our waiter was attentive, cordial and quick. Like most Outbacks, the Australian themed design is both delightful and conducive to good eating.

The seared Ahi Tuna appetizer is a nice alternative to the Bloomin' Onion (although that's good as well) and when I've gone off the beef menu and had chicken or fish, it was cooked to perfection and quite tasty.

Go during happy hour and have a tall Foster's to wash down this delicious cuisine and you're bound to leave sated and pleased.

The only down point is that it is just too noisy for a romantic dinner for two, but that's just the character of the place. A wonderful place for entertaining family and friends.
