User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis has been our "corner bar" for about 10 years. Very friendly crowd, 90 percent locals, and busy from early morning to past midnight. Mid-to-late afternoon is the best, imho. Nothing fancy, but it's reasonably clean and has fair prices for its beer-and-wine only selections (draft and bottle), served by efficient and personable bartenders (mostly women.). Several televisions carry major sports, especially NASCAR and football. Pool table, juke box and dart board available. Karaoke frequently on Friday or Saturday nights; occasionally live professional music. Several tables available for those who don't want to sit at the bar. Just a few steps from Chinese and Italian restaurants and a laundromat in the adjoining plaza. Retirees, construction workers, bikers and their lady friends all mix nicely together here.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFantastic place. Just a beer and wine pub... Bartenders are all nice and friendly. Happy hour is in the morning. Afternoons are always busy. Nights can be a little unfriendly because of the drunks they keep on serving. From 3 to 7 is the best time.. Free food on Sundays and holidays.
