Upon moving my Mom in two days ago, we experienced MANY problems.
Not the least of which is that the staff didn't nebulize her four times a day!
The room was VERY hot we had to get fans! After spending time explaining to both day and evening shift nursing staff about how to refill the oxygen canasters, no one had done so. Therefore, she had no oxygen to go to the dinning room etc. The staff did not shower my mother, and she showered alone in a very small shower, and she had not showered before alone in years! Very dangerous, she could have fallen and broken a hip etc. the best is the pull string for the nurse!
there is only one in the room for TWO patients. The cord (laugh) is made up of string/yarn that patients have tied together. Some string red some pink etc. The set up is like what a ten year old would do! The toilet seat is way to low and my mom can't get herself off of it! It needs a riser or handles. She sill does' not have this!!!!! This place would be the LAST place I would put a person I cared for. Nursing staff is slim to none.
The doors are left open all night...no code, no key. ANYONE COULD WALK IN AND DO WHATEVER TO ANY PATIENT!!! VERY BAD SCENE.
