User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe stayed there for three days and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. The location is great. A one minute walk from the hotel and you can be on the sand of Daytona Beach. It is within walking distance of only a few restaurants and shirt stores, so you will likely have to drive to get to the better dining/shopping areas.
The staff was very friendly and the service was great. They were very helpful. When we arrived, a staff member told us some of the local hotspots for eating and the different attractions. We didn't even have to ask.
This is a very, very family-friendly hotel. If you want to feel safe when you go to the swimming pools or the beach and have a great time, this is a wonderful place to stay.
Our only problem was that we had a few gnats on and off throughout our stay. It wasn't anything that took away from our experience, but it was noticeable at times.
We hated to leave, and when we return to Daytona Beach, we will definitely look into staying at the El Caribe again. Recommended. +++
