Famous Philly's Beef & Beer

Familiar with this bar just as a sandwich take-out customer, but can say the beef sandwiches are excellent and rightly famous. Phone-in orders are usually ready within 10 minutes.

I have been going to Famous Philly's for at least six years. The food has always been excellent and they live up to their word - belly bustin' cheesesteaks!! Everyone I recommend goes and always says it reminds them of being in Philadelphia. Great atmosphere and we really like that they offer a DJ that plays Do-Wop on Friday nites. Lots of fun! Hats off to a five-star cheesesteak! Service is always good too. When busy... so worth the wait

I am a local, and I have been going here for quite some time. I have seen these big crowds every Sunday and really like the atmosphere. But, I must say that 2 weeks ago a group of my friends and I went there for Sunday night game and there were insects everywhere, with roaches crawling on the bar near the bread area that is in the open as well. I mentioned something to the owners son, which he then said "thats our buddy". Needless to say we will not be going back anytime soon, unless the owner puts of the money he is making back into the establishment.
