I love this place: I love this place. One of the reason's is that i have worked there for about 15 years. I love to go and eat there on my days off as well, (you know the food is good if you there on your days off). Okay, enough of my rambling let me tell you a little bit about it. It's call the Old Spanish Sugar Mill. It's the coolest restraunt ever. Okay, you sit at the tables with griddles in the middle of them, the servers (im one of them) bring you 2 different types of pancake batters. One is an early American traditional unbleached white batter (you know the ones you eat at home). The other is a unique mixture of 5 stone ground grains. (5 grain batter). It consist of wheat, rye, corn, buckwheat, and rice flour. I love it so much, i just can't eat it (alergic to buckwheat really bad, ask my co-workers, i sneeze all the time!!, and of course wash my hands afterward..lol). You can also add all different kinds of goodies, like blueberries, pecans, bananas, chocolate chips, peanut butter, applesause, and of course apples. If you want bacon, sausage or ham, they will cook that for you in the kitchen (vegatarians there is also a vegaterian sausage, its really good). Oh you cook your own eggs too. When you get through eating you can do one of my favorite things there, is go swimming. You can easily get all the syrup off your hands like that!! Not to mention there are paddleboats, canoeing, and kayaking (one of my favorites). If your into hiking, there is a five mile hiking trail called the persimmon trail, its really cool. Well, that pretty much describes it, have fun!!
