Posted on Friday, October 2, 2008: I am a Retied Florida Police Officer, and I enjoy strumming on a guitar for relaxation. I live in Orlando area, and I search all the stores here for a Guild 40 CE. This is an awesome sounding guitar with “solid” mahogany sides and back, and “solid” Spruce top. It has pickups inside that cannot be seen with a cut-away body for the access to the higher neck frets. And, what I love there is no big hole cut in the side for a plastic pickup control and battery compartment. Who really wants a hole in their guitar? Guild Company was bought out by Fender Company, so these guitars are still great. They are made in China, and I personally believe the quality control and workmanship is excellent. The clear tones you can get out of a Guild are totally amazing. Well, enough about this guitar’s features. I searched and searched, and even looked in eBay for a Guild. OK, Sam Ash sells them, but only by ordering it and waiting weeks. Well, while I was searching on the internet, I found Total Entertainment, Daytona Florida. OK, it is a 70 mile drive for me, and with gas prices, I was not looking forward to going there. However, this was the only store that actually had Guild Guitars in stock (well stocked store for everything). When I got there everyone was friendly, but they did not pressure me at all. One salesman named Steve came over, and showed me what I was looking for – the Guild Guitars. OoooWeee, I was a kid in a Candy Store. There were actually many types of Guild guitars and the GAD-40CE model that I wanted. The salesman Steve was very helpful, and gave me a great deal on this guitar. Steve even gave my son and me a tour of the entire store. I told Steve that I was impressed with this store, and all the salespeople, and of course – the great deal Steve gave me on my Guild Acoustic. I told Steve that I would write a review and complement him to the store owner. Steve smiled and said, “You just did – I own the store.” Well, as promised … Thank you Steve. You have a great store, and all your sales staff are all very helpful too. I love the Guild Guitar, and appreciate all the time you spent with me and my teenage son.

I have been buying all my DJ equiptment from Steve the owner for the past 15 years ..His staff is always very helpful...If you need something they will get it for you...There prices are also great they beat all the compition.....
