User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsthe daytona store must have a policy to hire only the slowest moving deli workers. i have never seen such ignorance in dealing with the public as the deli at this store. they must take special training in order to work there

A pharmasist (man) who on Christmas EVE 15 minutes BEFORE they were scheduled to close and while I was right in the parking lot, having tried to call them 5 times during the day while I was myself having worked from 6:45 AM until 5:30 PM long before he was even at work, I had tried to call got no answer, my Docitr had emailed an RX to fill urgent, I myself had called in a refill the day before, when I finally got someone at 15 minutes til (plently of time to get my RX!) first the woman siad they was no RX for me but could I be there in 5 minutes I said yes i am in the parking lot, the man? pharmasists tok the phone and said, too late, we are closing you have to wait til Friday and I said WAIT it is for Prednisone of which he knows very well that a person on pred WILL go into respritory failure and cardiac in 24 hour if not given the pred...AGAIN he said too bad, wait til friday! and hung up!..OMG...can we say LAWSUIT?......not to mention no morals and ethics!....I called the store manager back and he understod after I told him the health riks of not having what SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY TO PICK UP both from my Doctor and my calling a day before!..He made the no moral pharmasist get the medication ready and leave it with him...Fortunately I was able to et it...HOWEVER...WHEN does closing exactly ON TIME no matter what day it is..Christmas Eve or not become MORE important that a persons health and what could have been death for someone, not like it was for indigestion...OUTRAGOUS...I had been working ALL day too! even longer than he had and would have been still working were it not that I left early to get there in time which I was to get this urgent and medically necessary medication!....I have not been the only one, since I have heard this before with mistakes, not having RX that Doctors send in, losing RX and info and all kinds of thigs...This guy is to be reorted and his license removed to keep someone one day from this happening even worse...If I had not called the manager I would be spending CHRISTMAS in the emergency room!.........and before anyone says something smart like you should have been prepared I was!..I HAD already called in an entire DAY ahread for an emergency pickup while the Doctor Rx pending that day...!
THIS IS A TERRIBLE WALMART in other ways as well....YEs most are rude, not at all helpful, make comments about customers, wont look to see if they have anything not on the shelf or even if they can get something in for you...DIRTY and just dont go there if you can help it -

This is the same at all stores with a deli like wal-mart. It is amazing that they think people have so much time to wait while they slowly slice (And I mean s l o w). I must agree with you! You would think they would want the customers to be serviced so they could shop more instead of spending long times at deli counter. Makes me buy pre-packaged cold cuts. I usually report findings to the manager along with the workers name and attitude. They are hired to provide a service for the customers, they should have to do the job properly.
