Moas: Bit of a disappointment. Very little art. Alot of old furniture and some pictures apparently painted for local old families. Great on the history and I like the idea of the planetarium, which I hope to get back over to see. I do have reservations as to why there is a Cuban exhibit here in Daytona. Makes no sense to me.
Always Amazing: I've had the privilege to see 2 exhibits at this museum. The first was the Egyptian exhibit from a few months past and then the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit that is currently running. The history contained here is amazing. This is for anyone... even my little sister enjoyed it. I recommend using the docent tours for the best information (it's included in your admission price).
Speaking of which, spring a little extra money for the membership. It buys you a membership not only for MOAS in Daytona, but also dozens of other museums around the country. Plus, it costs less than 2 admission tickets, so if you even think you'll come back once (and you will), it's well worth the money.
Make sure you've got at least 2 hours, preferably 3 to spend in the museum though. Time will fly.
