Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Restaurant & Market

I wanted to give this place 5 stars, because the food was great and the serve staff were courteous and fast, once we were seated -- but -- when we got there we were told that there would be a 10 minute wait, so we sat at the bar and got a drink to pass the time -- that turned into 15 minutes, and when my husband asked about a table, we were told the wait was going to be considerably longer due to a huge party had reservations, and other tables had been reserved. Anyway we did get a seat, but it must have been made for little kids. Anyway -- we will try it again I am sure, but will call in advance to be sure that there's seating.

Typical tourist trap. Wait times are ridiculous, scene is goofy, and food is just o.k. Do yourself a favor and go to a local seafood spot where they get shrimp directly from the boats and cook it that day.

Anytime a resturant is a mall/entertainment complex of course you encounter long waits (like all restaurants - depending when you visit. Daytona is a tourist area and many people like this type of place. The food is fresh however and good. Great place to have a drink on the week-ends or grab a bite before/after cinema.

What an interesting place with friendly servers and good food that is child and group friendly. The fod is tasty, although a bit pricer, you must expect that a a place with this amount of noteriety and being on the beach. Beautiful views also abound. Keep up the good work. Clam chowder is thick, creamy and tasty; fish sandwiches and meals are delicious as are the chicken sandwiches and pulled pork.
