About:	The Ritz Theatre is home to gospel and jazz, other entertainment and nightlife. Community theater and film are also featured. The neighboring LaVilla Museum has more than 11,000 square feet of exhibit space and is home to art and artifacts from several African countries, as well as photographs by Aaron Mervin, paintings, ceramics and other visual arts. Local African-American artists' works are featured each year during Black History Month in February at this cultural arts center.
