About:	This venerable course was the first in the area. The front nine were built in 1911 and designed by Alex Findley. The Oceanside Golf & Country Club is most definitely a links-style golf course. It's open, with only the occasional palm tree to interrupt the windswept landscape. The course is just across Highway A1A from the Atlantic Ocean.It's not the deep traps nor the infrequent water that get you here; it's the wind. The greens are elevated and no holes on this course are long, unless you happen to be playing them into the wind. This is a private golf course. Soft spikes only.
