Fine and friendly but no car clubs :(: Today I had my P.T. Cruiser serviced again and did not feel bad writing a check for over 600$. They were quick and did the work I asked for and when finished told me of any and all things they noticed that might need attention in the near future. As always they gave me the choice of waiting or having them drive me home and then come to get me when the work on my P.T. Cruiser was completed. Today I opted to wait and was not made to feel neglected. There was coffee (which I refuse, I detest coffee) and donuts. (I did go off my diet and eat a couple of them.)
While waiting I was informed of the progress being made and also asked if there was anything I needed to make my wait more comfortable.
Since purchasing my P.T. Cruiser at Beck Chrysler, Palatka I have had all service done at the Beck service center with the exception of the tires. I run an oversize tire on this vehicle and would encourage all owners of P.T.Cruisers to do the same as it gives a much better ride and enhances the performance of the vehicle.
The only complaint I would even to think of with Beck is that they do not sponsor any type of car club. Where I lived before coming to Putnam County, ten years ago, almost all of the local dealers there sponsored clubs and many of them still do today.
Here in Putnam County there seems to be no interest by any of the automotive dealers to be involved with the lives of the vehicles sold other than to get the buyers to purchase a newer vehicle when the dealership has a sale or new year models come out.
Were there a club whether for all Dodge and Chryslers or just a club for P.T. Cruisers I know I would be not just a club member but also a constant customer and promoter of all services offered by the sponsoring dealership.
