I am from Jersey and this is the only pizza joint that I can find that comes close to the pies that we enjoy in Jersey, If I were from the south and wanted a taste of the NORTH i would definately go to this spot.
We have been going to Gino's for over a year. We go at least once a month. It USED to be real good. I have noticed within the last 2 or 3 months that is not as good as it used to be.
The service has gotten real slow. The waitress won't come around to refill our drinks. Last night they told us they were out of Coke. I had to go to the counter to request another beer. It took about 45 minutes to get our Pizza. The last time we were there, it took over an hour to get our Pizza. They forgot our order then made up a lame excuse.
The pizza we had last night was not very good. The crust was flat and VERY thin. It looked and felt like a tortilla shell. I am not kidding.
I just read another review & see that they were recently bought out. This new owner has a lot of work to do. I doubt very seriously if we will go back.
I am originally from NYC and their pizza is delicious like NYC. I travel all the way downtown to just treat my self and my family. {Especially on Tuesday and Saturday's when there is buy one get one pizza free.}
