A really friendly biker bar: It's not your run of the mill place. Actualy you'll find it to be a close knit community of sorts. A lot of locals and a friendly atmosphere is what there is though. The couple of times I have been there, I've had a really great time, made some friends, and just basically had a blast! I'd definately recomend this place to anyone that likes the 'biker' style pub, and country music.

I visited Ma Barker's Hideaway yesterday and everyone there was so friendly. I went with two of my friends and none of us had ever been to Oklawaha before. All of the regulars just treated us like we belonged. This bar will make you feel so welcome. There is a real Tommy Gun hanging in the bar. The bartendress let us take pictures with the gun outside. The patrons of the bar told us about the local stories of "Ole Joe" the alligator. Fred Barker killed this gator causing the FBI to find out where he and his "ma" were hiding. We saw the house where Fred and Ma Barker died. We also visited Ole Joe's restaraunt. They have awesome frozen margaritas. Lake Weir is in Oklawaha and this lake is just beautiful. I loved my visit to this small Fl. town.
