    Wow! What a difference a few months make. I thnk they got it figured out at this restuarant. Great location of course, right on the BEACH! Very good live music, an awesome pool, and some of the friendlist and good looking servers and bartenders. It was very busy, of course the bikini contest, so of course there was a little bit of a wait. It was fine because they let you know ahead of time. The drinks keeped coming and we didn't even feel like we waited long at all. They simplified the menu and everything was excellent. I would recommend this restuarant to anyone going to the New Smyrna Beach area, you can't go wrong!

    UNBELIEVABLE is all I can say.
    On our first day of vacationing in New Smyrna Beach, my husband and I had dinner at Chases on the Beach. To make a long story short, we will never be eating there and will not recommend this restaurant. We are usually very easy to please especially while on vacation. Our waitress came to our table and left before taking our complete orders. When we ordered items they were out of and we made our second choices, she told us that she would check on the availability of the items and let us know; that did not happen. My husband ordered a second beer that never appeared on our table. Our appetizer never graced our presence either. My glass was never refilled even though the table beside us was refilled twice before we left (and I was drinking the same drink). Our waitress did not check on us before we left. My husband's filet mignon was cooked way too long; it was tough and black rather than medium as he ordered. The mashed potatoes were gross! Finally, we requested the check, which was $46.xx for things we did not even eat. After our check was given to us, we waited at least 10-15 minutes before we asked another waitress to take the bill for us. Then, our waitress returned with our receipts. The atmosphere was ok, but it was next to the beach. The food was gross, and the service was awful!! We could not even find a manager to talk to about our experience. We just went to our hotel room and ordered pizza instead. :( So, disappointed.

    JUST AWFUL. BAD FOOD, BAD MANAGEMENT,MANAGER LIES. CAN'T SEE THE MENUE NO LIGHTS!!! OTHER PEOPLE LEFT BECAUSE THEY COUDN'T READ MENUE. WE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME. ALSO TRIED TO CHEAT US OUT OF THE FULL AMOUNT OF OUR COUPON. WILL NEVER, NEVER GO BACK.
