I lived in FL for over 16 years. When Peach Valley opened it was instantly our favorite place to go eat. Now that I have moved, I always try to get back to PV. Food is wonderful, they have had some staffing changes, however the ambience and the goodness of the food has not changed. Whether is a a cold day and you need chicken pot pie or a hot day and you want a wrap or salad, you cannot go wrong! The grits are too die for, especially if you have ever had a "bad grits" experience or no grits experience. Congratulations to Stonewood for starting Peach Valley -
if you get to the Orlando area there is one over the too, in a shopping mall, cute little place, same kind of great food and people
    cafe dining at its best!

well I have to say after reading the previous review I really wonder what restaurant they went to...every October we go to the Peach valley cafe for breakfast and I must say that it is the best breakfast in the Ormond beach area....the service over the past 3 years has been awesome and very friendly and efficient....they are busy and the food is awesome...this past October we had lunch for the first time and was extremely satisfied....we were sent there by the waiter at the Stonewood Grill in Ormond and look forward to going back this coming October and I can tell you we wouldn't go anywhere else for breakfast. It is well worth the wait and yes the Apple fritters are to die for!!!!!

After all the raving about this place, we decided to try it for breackfast. What a disappopintment. First upon arriving, we were hoarded with all these paeople waiting for tables. People were walking around watching people eat to see when they would finish (the staff was doing this) and hovering. 45 minutes later, we were called for a table. The table had yet to be wiped, the girl plunked down the menu and walked away leaving us to sit at a filthy table. 10 minutes and no server.I approached the hostess and asked for a server. She turned to the woman next to her, rolled her eyes and said, we are very busy as soon as someone can they will be there. 10 minutes again and a server walks over. What do you wnat, are you ready? This was our greeting. We ordered and asked for our table to be wiped. She sighed loudly and stated yes and walked away. After 20 minutes we received cold food, wrongly prepared and all over incorrect. Complaining was had as our server was no where to be found, and the satff was trying to rush people out so others could be seated. After finding a manager and expressing our unhappiness we were told thank you for our opinion. No apology or anything. I will never gop back to this over priced place. the prices are way too high for the amount and quality of food. I cannot believe they are still in business with extremely poor service, high prices and low quality of food. While I will say they were extremely busy, I do not feel that is excuse for the food and service we received. We did try again at a later date to talk to an owner only to have three phone call never reurned and told when they have time, they will contact us. To date, nothing.
