User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is awesome. Everything about it is the Florida experience. Slider's is definately where the locals go. It is one of the only places left at the beach with outdoor seating which is one reason it's probably so packed. The food is Floribbian style seafood. Sepcialties include all local fresh fish, shrimp and oysters. Fish tacos are one of a kind and Happy Hour is only once a week on Thursday from 5 - 8 and is not to be missed. A line at the door starts to from 30 minutes before they open. Quarts of Bud are served for $4 to accompany the $4 dozen oysters raw or steamed. Dinner specials change nightly depending on the fresh fish that comes in daily. The owners are husband and wife who started it in 1982 with only 8 tables. The business began to boom and they were busting out of their seems so Slider's moved next door to an old car garage and has been unstopable ever since. Everyone who works there seems to love their jobs, their bosses and many have been there since the beginning. It is a welcoming place and you feel right at home. For a true Florida experience and you're in the Neptune Beach area definately put Slider's on your agenda.

Great atmosphere for a quite dinner or a family meal. Peel and eat'em shrimp appetizer was great! Everyone at our table chose the snapper or the mahi mahi and crab cake. My snapper was good but the cous cous that came with it was not good. Everyone else really enjoyed their meal. I would recommend it to my friends!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is the best seafood restaurant I have eaten at since I moved from New Orleans. They have awesome food and a great atmosphere. The previous comments stated best oysters and that nails it. You cannot go wrong here. The service is super!
