Great service in a cozy little dining room. Take out service is very good. You will love Will and his family, who operate KJ's. They get to know each one of their customers and treats each like family when they come back in. The food is exceptional. There's always fried fish, shrimp, meat dishes and sides with corn bread muffins. It's more than you can eat with reasonable prices. Don't miss the bar-b-que on Saturdays and get there before they run out. You'll keep going back again and again. Since the day they opened, we've never had a bad meal yet.

My love for KJ's: I first went to KJ's on a weekend trip here to Jacksonville to visit a friend. He took me there and I had not had food that good in years. It actually influenced my decision to move here just to go to KJ's. Now I visit about once every week or so. Be prepared to not do anything for the rest of the day, this kind of soul food will do it to ya. I love the country fried chicken wings with lots of hot sauce, hoppin' john, collard greens and fried okra. Doesn't get much better than that. Great service and great atmostsphere also.
