I ate at this restaurant over 50 years ago when fries were a dime and cokes were a nickel. The food, though simple always tastes great. It's still in the ownership of the original family. It has not changed very much over the years - fresh paint inside and out. every time I go back to Baldwin, I have to stop in at Everybody's to have a burger, fries and coffee (costs slightly more now than it did in 1958). Last time I was there my waitress was the daughter of one of my classmates. Small world.
I was doing some train photography in Baldwin and happened upon this wonderful place called "Toots Cafe" and deceided to stop for a quick bite. I loved it!! I had a home cooked meal of pork chops, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, and a homade biscuit. All excellent. Then I got a piece of homemade piece of apple pie. WOW!! The best pie I have ever had.
The place was extremely friendly and the bill was only $14 for all that, pie included.
Great value, great atmosphere.
Everybody goes to Everybody's: A down home dinner that has not changed. I hope it never does.
The food is good, the price is right, and the people are just good people.
It is not big, or fancy, or showy; but in Baldwin Florida everybody goes to Everybody's!
