I am a Navy Mom who almost had a son duped by this company. My son went in to talk about a trade and found himself going home with an over priced toyota. His trade a tricked out HHR, was and still is worth more than what he was sold. After speaking with sales person" J " I realized that this person knew that the title to the trade had two names on it as well as the financing.
After asking him if he planned to forge my husbands name to the title ...this sales person became indignant and challenging... I let him no that no-one would take advantage of any of my children or my spouse. I told him that things would go back to the way they were ASAP. My son says he has his HHR back. However, I am planning on filing with the Attorney Generals Office on Monday December 22, 2008 in regards to the deceptive practices of this sales person and company .How do you take advantage of those who at a moments notice defend your right to live FREE. Anyone with similar complaints should do so as well.
1. The cars at this dealership is strategically priced higher than other Toyota dealerships in the city. How is it possible I bought an '09 Corolla for under $16K when Keith's pushy annoying salesman was showing same vehicle for over $22K.
2. I got an oil change in June '08 and not two months later was getting my battery jumped and serviced. The problem? A corroded battery with no water. What happened to checking and filling all fluids? What happened to the 2 million point safety check that they over charge for? Why was my oil change almost $40? The service associate forgot to tell me that they went up on oil changes due to the sticky economy. How did they miss checking my battery? I said to the associate when he brought my keys how quickly that oil change was done...now I know why!
Ya' know...this is a Navy town and many of us Navy wives drive Toyotas. We kinda depend on you guys to do what we pay you to do when our husbands are away on the ship. I have a full time job, and 2 active kids. Between dance classes and karate, I shouldn't have to check and make sure the oil was actually changed and the fluids filled. Especially when I paid Pierson $40 to do it. So yeah, I'm pretty ripped that I was stuck in the rain with two tired kids...if it would have been a real problem. OK...it's life, we deal. But to be told the battery had no water, was bone dry and the cables full of corrosion...in two months? Unacceptable. This SUV is a 2003. Makes me believe they have NEVER checked it for it to be bone dry and as filthy as I saw. I been paying these guys to service my vehicle every 3000 miles for the past 5 years. No more...I'll find another service department!
Thanks a lot Keith and company!
Left To be wanting: My husband and I were at the dealership until 10:00pm because all of the associates continued to converse and walk around. Not really intrested in what I wanted in a car but what they could put me with and how high they could get my payments up to. The customer service was very shabby and I am not going to from them again.
