I've eaten there many times over the years ...it's awesome! Everytime I go to the JAX/Mayport area I stop in. The food is fresh and the service very friendly. It's a rare taste of real-deal "Old Florida" right by the St Johns River ferry dock.

Great fried Trigger fish. Flounder & shrimp are good too. They have great black beans & rice as well as fresh collard greens. Ask for Karla or Rhonda to wait on you. They have good sweet iced tea. Check out the the back room that houses the model wooded boats made by Mr. Singleton.

Great Seafood: We were referred to Singleton's by our deep sea fishing guide and the place doesn't look like much but wow is it good. We brought our own catch in and had them cook it up, it was great. Great service, the people are great and the food was incredible. We'll be making a return trip before our vacation is over.
