About:	Firehouse Subs, home of the steamed sandwich, originated in Jacksonville and is experiencing rapid growth throughout the entire South. Most subs are served hot, but classic cold subs are also on the menu. The Baymeadows location has large painted murals depicting fire and rescue scenes.
