Just up from Tampa for a few days...we have a restaurant there which has the slogan "Feast for the eyes as well as the palate" - this should also be the slogan for Atlantis. The food is presented beautifully while also being skillfully prepared. The pasta del sol is wonderful!
Been a while since I updated this, so let me do it again.
I tend to go on Friday nights, as opposed to the more crowded Latin nights that surround it. Wait staff on the whole is very friendly. I enjoy the food quite a bit, but the one caveat is, it may take a bit longer to come out. Everything is cooked to order and fresh, so if you have time-sensitive plans following the meal, choose another time to go. Salsa lessons on Saturdays are good if you have never danced the steps before, although the ones on Thursday (which have an added charge) are normally better.
Food took exceptionallly too long to prepare considering the time and the number of customers in the place. Presentation? Looked like the crown of king Julien, king of the Lemurs in the movie MADAGASCAR. The meat protion of my food had a nice flavor, but the sides.....yech! serving not eqaul to the cost!
