Send only your enemies to this place,,,,,,: Took back a purchased rebuilt transmission with a leak to be fixed (post warranty period.

After waiting 3 days, I was told there was a front end leak which could not be diagnosed further without dropping the transmission ($450 service charge). Suggestions were made that this was a strong possibility that the transmission insides were corroded due to a single application of a product called LUCAS.
I declined to have the car work done and took it to another non transmission car center. They replaced the gasket and transmission lines and there is no longer a leak. They did not have to drop the transmission to identify the issue and correct. Again, they are not transmission specialists and they were able to diagnosis, and correct the issue with an overnight stay with the car.

In addition, the car mysteriously had experienced significant coolant leakage after leaving this Aamaco location. They volunteered to tow the car back to the shop to look at it. Needless to say the tow truck never came.
