The staff is always polite, if not the most efficient. That's a step up for most "chain gangs" in Jacksonville. The food is wholesome and the atmosphere is appropriate for a family restaurant. However, I have noticed a decline in the quality in recent months.

We enjoyed the other location in Jacksonville, so we gave this location a try. The set-up at this location is a little more open, so less romance but more family style. We enjoyed the Sicilian pizza very much, but expect to wait longer for that thick crust. Two of us ate to satisfaction and left with enough leftovers for at least two more meals. Joseph's has homemade style crust and sauce and a wide variety of fresh toppings. I wish they had a few more gourmet type ingredients, but they do have a lot of selection. The wine list is not bad for what I consider a pizza joint; though it is rather standard, it is reasonably priced.
