Staff was friendly enough. Oh and when I was paying my bill they charged me the $13.99 dinner price instead of the Lunch price ... I completed my meal at about 2PM. I confronted them and they acted like I was not talking at all. They say "Oh No .. Dinner price starts already! " If I had known they would jack me up I wold have gone elsewhere. ASK THE PRICE FIRST! it is posted as $7.99. I smiled and let them know to spend it wisely, I would never return!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAWFUL: I'm a big guy and enjoy eating out and eating almost anything at least once. I've been going to Chinese Buffets' , including this one, for a long time and I know what to expect, ...that's why I return. This time, there was some kind of flavoring or spice that prominated about 80% of the food I selected that almost made me gag. It was in the fish, meat and poultry. The Duck tasted rancid. The only saving grace I had with this meal was the available fruit on the dessert table. I couldn't describe this taste for the life of me. Good luck.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I never ate at this particular restaurant; but I ate at another Chinese restaurant in 5-Points and experienced the same awful taste of that same flavoring or spice on a number of their food items; to the point that I was reluctant to try any other items unless my hubby tasted it first and assured me that the taste was not in that dish. But he didn't like the taste either and would only taste test two items for me. And I am one to use a great many different spices and flavorings in my own cooking, but have never, ever came across anything like this taste before. I never went back to that restaurant.
