    The Best Coffee in Tallahassee!: A comfortable, laid-back environment with very friendly employees and patrons. Great for meeting people or listening to entertaining conversations. Toys available for adults and kids alike ... and don't hesitate to bring your pet (on a leash, of course).

    Best Place for relaxation and fun: I love this place because it is local, casual, and had a wonderful atmosphere. In addition to great coffee and chai tea, the setting is wonderful with its array of boardgames that you can play to the nice outdoor deck, to the convenience of having the beautiful Lake Ella to walk around. I go there all the time with my friends and everyone should too.

    Best coffee in town: I am a regular to all of the coffee shops in town due to school work. Black Dog is the only coffee shop I will not study at, but this is because it is where I go when I want to relax. With it being right on lake Ella with the deck under a large oak canopy, it is a very peacful place. Not only that, but the coffee products they serve are by far the best quality in town. They use a highly recognized coffee brand (Batdorf & Bronson) and Ghirardelli Chocolate syrups. Seriously people, if you want one of the best atmospheres and best cups of coffee, come chill here. It has been my favorite for years now.
